Jeff Winard is celebrating his 40th anniversary of music in 2008 with the release of this album – “Wonderful World of Music”. This is music direct from Milwaukee where Frankie Yankovic was crowned America's Polka King! Jeff Winard continues the tradition of making music in the Yankovic tradition and more.
In 1971 after having the opportunity to meet Frank Yankovic, Jeff began performing with "America's Polka King" as an accordionist and continued to perform with his own band. This association would last until Yankovic's retirement in 1998. During those 27 years, Jeff had the opportunity to travel throughout the country covering thirty states with countless performances ranging from Las Vegas to the New York State Fair.
Over the years, Jeff Winard has performed on shows with Bob Hope, Danny Thomas, Rosemary Clooney, Myron Floren, Joey Miskulin, and Patti Page. Along with Jeff Winard, on this album you will hear the talents of David Austin, Grant Kozera, Eric Noltkamper, Mike Schneider, and more.
